Club description

Spyglass Hill Golf Course takes its name from Robert Louis Stevenson's classic novel, Treasure Island, published in 1863. Local legend maintains that Stevenson once wandered the Spyglass area gathering ideas for his novels. With this in mind, Robert Trent Jones Sr. set about creating a treasure of his own. Spyglass Hill Golf Course is rated one of the toughest courses in the world from the Championship tees.

Hole #3 - 172 yards par 3

There is a spectacular view of the Pacific ocean from this elevated tee, which, in the absence, makes the hole play shorter than the yardage. The green is deceptive, sloping from the front to back.
